2 weeks ago i was bidding on a really nice bench bracelet for my boyfriend. It got to £16 and £2.50 postage and i left it because i knew i could get a brand new one for not much more. Anyway i had an email earlier saying that they winner had not been in contact for 2 weeks so i have a 2nd chance. I dont really want to pay that much so would i be able to contact the seller and make him an offer? I was thinking of going down to £12.50 plus postage?
I didnt win the item. I was outbid at the last minute. But apparently the winner didnt pay so i have been offered the item.
you are not obliged to pay for it, as you were not the winner, but i think it would be a useful bargaining tool :)
